If the club is fulfill Mr Bloom's stated aim of Top 10 finishes, it needs to be buying players of a better caliber than those who currently play for Arsenal.
Yer we can't sign top 8 players. Not good enough.

If the club is fulfill Mr Bloom's stated aim of bringing through youngsters from our very expensive Category A development project, it needs to be sure that the likes of Alzate and Molumby aren't blocked by paying a lot of money to bring in promising youngsters from other clubs.
If we're going to play three at th back, and GP is adamant that Burn/Bernard/March can't do a decent job at LWB, maybe then - would still rather get another striker though.

I hope we still have a chance of landing AMN but I fear the cup final appearance and win may have messed the deal up?

Not sure this relevant tbh. Its already been in the press that Arsenal will have to sell if they want to recruit. With this in mind, AMN would probably be available for the right price.

Back in favour it seems what possible reason would he want to swap Arsenal for Albion?

We're clearly interested in the lad but, as we don't tend to go public with stuff, I'm guessing either the player or Arsenal are pushing this story in the press to increase wages or transfer fees.
