In the Asia Cup, Japan lose 2-1 to Iraq. Means they’ll probably finish second in their group. If South Korea win their group, the two sides will meet in the next round. Gives a slight prospect of an early return for Mitoma.

What happened to Ghana, Cape Verde are tiny nation? Big shock, surely Chris will come back fighting after that result. Where can we watch these matches?

My upstairs neighbour is Ghanian and of course with CH as manager and Tariq I always keep a close eye on them. They were absolutely shocking against Cape Verde. Slow, negative, no ambition. It was like watching a Chris Hughton side. Oh. Wait.

Drew 2-2 with Egypt last night but didn't watch it. Kudos scored both of Ghana's goals.
