CMS is going to score the winner against us in the last ten seconds of the Wembley final, it's written in the frickin' stars. #omg

Match practice. Training only goes so far. Playing verses new opposition at an actual game will keep him sharp. Long may Brighton continue in this competition. It is a joke, but gives fringe players a chance to play.

I wouldn't be se sure on Kaz leaving too. Chris may want 5 wingers as he usually includes 4 in each match day squad.

I would have wholeheartedly agreed with your last paragraph until two minutes from the end. What an absolutely stupid thing to do. Mr. Hughton will not be happy.

Very much a glass half empty sort of person aren't we? Nice to win any match that we play, but lets face it the Checkatrade Trophy isn't exactly our numero uno target this season.

In fact we only have the one target don't we?

Lualua sent off for a "gesture made towards the home crowd". Proceeded to walk off (eventually) kissing the badge and reminding the AFCW fans of the score.

:lolol:

Hughton won't be happy, it was unprofessional, but pretty funny though.

He will be absolutely livid, and rightly so.
Daft from Kaz, he's blown a great opportunity to show Hughton what he could bring to the first team squad. He'll be banned from the next few of these, who knows when he'll get another game.

Was it the one man or his dog that he gestured to?

All rather embarrassing when Kaz rocks up there holding a shirt on 02.01.17.

Collar then raced forward but his cross was only cleared as far as LuaLua on the edge of the box, but the winger’s first-time effort was deflected narrowly wide of the target.

Albion were reduced to ten men late on when LuaLua was dismissed after referee Charles Breakspear was notified by his linesman about a gesture made towards Mr Pardew in the home crowd.

Great result. I know very few agree with the format of this competition but it's great experience for some of the DS lads. Hopefully we get a plum tie at home in the next round, Mansfield would be nice.

From the image on the Argus it looks like he got the red for holding the badge? I guess in front of Pardew? Bit harsh?

Is that the first time ever, the name Mansfield and plum tie have been used in the same sentence? Although they were pretty good in 1977/78 season (was it?), but that was the league.
