I'm hoping it stays 3-3 now.

Let's play out a pissy draw at home and get some players some recovery time in Feb

Why does it happen that you go down to 10 men and you raise your game? How does that work?
Think it's a 2 way thing - suddenly there's a pressure on the team with 11 to finish the job, whilst the team with 10 suddenly get an extra fight within then. Often, anyway. So 10 v 11 isn't quite as straightforward as you'd think (unless there's a big gap in class)

You know you have to put in extra work to compensate for the lost man. And perhaps there's an element of perspective - it seeming better, because the team with 11 think they don't have to bust a gut because they've got the extra man.

We did not get enough credit beating Ajax two times from the media because they're having a downer season. Marseille and AEK have both failed to beat them and they're still decent

It's interesting that being reduced to 10 often makes little difference or actually improves a team's performance - but being reduced to 9 is an absolute killer blow.
