I thought he did very well indeed in his cameo at the end of the Fulham match. Key to the build up for the penalty and his offside goal was closer than I thought at the time to being onside as he did try and dart back onside before sprinting past Fulham’s back line and demonstrating top level control and then finishing with both feet.

I can’t think of another winger in world football who is so obviously one sided. Most wingers have a preferred side right or left but can at least be productive and do a job on their ‘weaker’ side. He is literally a left winger and nothing else. He’s always decent on the left. Hopeless on the right

Everton, first game of the season, Adingra came on as a right winger, scored in the 87th minute coming off his wing. He’s more versatile than you give him credit for…

He played right wing all last season and had many many good games before tiring towards the end.

Your comment is silly anyway. How many games have you seen Saka play on the right? Or Mitoma play on the left?

His composure and the finish was excellent just a shame he couldn’t time his run.

For both the offsides I was sat almost inline with the Fulham defence so knew the linesman was going to raise his flag. Don’t think I even got out of my seat. What surprised me most is the first offside seemed to take an age for VAR to check.

Think that’s quite harsh overall, though I would be interested to see the breakdown of how many of his goals and assists have come when playing on the left vs right. Think it would likely be quite telling.

Cheers - likely to be quite strongly skewed by his USG numbers where I believe he played exclusively on the left. Are you able to narrow down to just his Albion appearances? :sneaky:
Here you go...

Agree with these posts. But he's not a breakthrough player.
Great last season, in Europe, starting under RDZ.
Not the best tracking back. But great technique, and always seems to give himself time to take a moment in picking a pass when in final 3rd
