I have seen Gruda a couple of times now , can’t see what he does , can’t beat a man, not a lot of pace , crossing not very good ,
passing not great , defensively not great
seriously?? thought he was excellent against liverpool. he’s made two appearances and he hadn’t even played a full 90 yet ffs!

I commented this week on article by Andy Naylor in The Athletic in which he claimed Simon preferred playing on the right and that was his best position. I challenged that as I thought he’s far better on the left. His retort was ‘Had I spoken to Simon personally to confirm this?’

Well clearly I hadn’t but I think most of NSC think he’s better on the left too! What do we know eh?(I know it’s very little obvs but even so I was still surprised by his confident assertion).

Find that really bizarre if so. His season at USG was almost entirely played on the left wing and his numbers were superb. Hence why he was seen as a bit of a potential successor to Mitoma, having followed the same loan path.

Think he’s got stacks of potential.
Wasn’t sure at first, but MoM in the league cup vs Liverpool, prefer him over Adingra already, because he tracks and can tackle.

He played on the left in the Final of the Africa Cup of Nations too and was very, very dangerous. Seems surprising he prefers the right side.

Best player on the pitch vs Liverpool. I really saw the light with him there. He's going to take a while but ad the kids say I reckon he has one if the highest 'ceilings' of the lot.

Really struggles to get into games as a sub though.

Gruda? The games ive seen he's struggled from sub positions. Getting up to speed. But ace against Liverpool when he started and could grow into the game.
Adingra! Sorry, looked at the thread title and assumed that’s who you meant
