Any new information? Arsenal fans seem convinced they are going to go for him, but there are 30 hours left of the window and have been no real links (just fan rumours) so far.

Hope it's rubbish. Lots today linking them to Toney, Sterling and Coman, so think they are trying for a last minute deal, which would be hard to pull off with us, unless we were desperate to offload (like Dahoud, Moder) or they just made a massive offer we couldn't turn down, which seems unlikely.

Looks a bit lost this season. Positionally all over the place. Did the summer transfer talk impact his mind set?

Also with the incredible standards we are setting upfront these days I'm not quite sure he's good enough

Thoughts ?

I thought he has done alright tbh. He’s had no real run in the side but has come in and made an impact in games. Assist v Utd for the winner, goal v Everton. Also 3 goals in 3 cup games. He’s unfortunate we have Mitoma in his preferred position and as you said the competition for playing on the right with Ferdi Minth, Gruda and still March to come in is high. But he’s a very useful squad player and if any injury happens to Mitoma I suspect he will start wide left.

Had barely played 200 PL mins this season. Just two starts and missed 3 games with an injury. He’s also had a positive impact in the cup games though.

Far too early to be writing him off as not good enough when he’s still learning how a new manager wants him to play.

Oooo good shout. Recency bias in full effect for me there. I guess it's only the last few weeks he's been a bit suspect.

He’s not a right sided midfielder and that showed again yesterday, it’s also essential he does his defensive duties as Veltman looked exposed at times during the first half when Adringa didn’t track back.

Needs a run of games but not sure he’s ahead of Minteh for me and sense Gruda may also force himself ahead of him as the season progresses.
