Right at the end of the Seagulls World video, Adams drops that bombshell.

"Possibly players that have been released, there may be a way back for them, but that's for discussion later on"

I hope he's talking about Reid and Butters, and no-one else

If that is the case then the decision must have been made on a whim. I could only think that DK and MA knocked into each other and got talking with one thing leading to another.

That would make this move even more bizarre. Get rid of 10 players one day, then change managers and possibly think again the next. Strikes me as a decision that was not long in the making.
Yeah... seems ridiculous. SURELY this has been more than three days in the making? How can you let Wilkins release 10 (and renew five) and only THEN decide you don't want him?

Tank as back up? Reid if he can keep fit? None of the others, surely?!

And it is beginning to look like a very rushed decision now isn't it?

i've just seen this and had hoped it had been done with his blessing as whats done's done and they should all move on

but what sort of chairman lets his manager release players 2 days before he is going to sack him?

Which makes you think that there were not plans to do it and that the decision was only made after a freak meeting between Dick and Micky.

the fact we have NO left backs might influence his decision somewhat.....

that interview was slightly unproffesional. done infront of the TOILETS, and then somebody goes into the gents right in the middle. wonderful

Hum, I agree with a lot of what was posted here, clearly DW did not know he was going to be axed. I hope Tank comes back, but I doubt it.
