It is noticeable that the in vote has picked up recently (although still well behind). I think people storm home after a poor performance and are pissed off so vote out. The people who sleep on it and then vote today are more realistic and accept that the club will not sack Adams so vote in. Just a thought.
I'm not sure a 5% swing is representative of anything at all really.

I wonder how many of the 28% that want him in were at the game yesterday.

I am IN, on the basis of 3 things

1) We cannot afford to pay Wilkins, Adams and the new manager
2) Glenn Hoddle is still unemployed
3) If Adams goes, there is a horrible chance Dean White will be put in charge until the end of the season

Exactly, nobody is pleased with the situation but from my point of view if Adams is sacked today we are left trying to appoint a new manager for a struggling team with ten days left in the transfer window and all our targets presumably changed. Adams has got to be allowed to try and bring in his targets and at least given until late February to let them settle in.

In reality, I think he will be given the rest of the season and, unless we go down, the start of next season to sort things out.

I have voted in because of the reasons that you give especially no1 and 3 and also there are a lot of worse managers out of work that we could get lumbered with. Some of his decisions do amaze me though, like signing Birchall until the end of the season and saying he needs games then leave him on the bench when we were crying out for some ball playing in the midfield and then to top it all bring on Loft who has proved time and again that he is not good enough.

I think we should have started with the same team last night except a 5th midfielder in Birchall and he, Cox and McLard told to get forward to support Forster and JR told to make the tea ready for half time.
