If they sack Adams, then Brooker and White should also go so a new manager can start with his own backroom team.

Booker and White are both Adams men. He appointed White when he was here last time and re -appointed Booker this time.

MA has just said Murray out for couple of weeks and they thought they hada signeda man in the week but he came on for his club and scored Shefti Kugi perhaps?

You would have thought Knight learnt from his mistake from giving Wilkins 3 years.

Algie, I agree. Regardless of who the manager is, 3 years is too long a contract to offer - if it doesn't work out in the first, the club ends up being saddled with the manager unless they're willing to cut their losses.

Maximum of 2 years - 1st year to pick up the reins from the previous manager and rebuild the squad as necessary, and the 2nd year to improve it. Any contract extension after that is purely based on performance.

If that means we lose out on managers who would only sign for 3 years, so be it. I wouldn't want to see any managers thinking that they've got a honeymoon period in our club.

Millwall and Leicester next.Could well be in the bottom four with no fit strikers.

Exactly.

Knight won't sack him as we are still paying for Wilkins. We can't afford to pay for two managers.

if we beat Derby will all this be forgotten?
certainly not as who gives a fu£k about cup games:angry:

I was gob smacked how many on here reacted about the man city win,the exspectations of many fans on here is at an all time low, pitch invasions for a mickey mouse cup game in the 1st round:nono:

the ambition at this club is awful it really is,i just hope falmer has no more hiccups and the board move on soon after.

Far to many fans live in the past as this club has not moved forward in 11 years as to many people feel grateful to have a club, this is bollocks as every club needs to move on and so do many albion fans.

This club needs fresh blood in the backroom and new idea's:thumbsup:

:lolol: yeah no one would have given a f*** but it was the richest club in the world that we beat so that was the reason for the pitch invasion.

Never wanted him, back but we're stuck with a manager who is the worst tactician since Jeff Wood and I may be being harsh on Wood. Knight will not sack him and Adams won't walk.

Depressing times

I'm starting to agree with that sentiment. Yes, I know how close we came to probable extinction. I was at the last Goldstone game, I was at Hereford, I went to Gillingham, but I'm getting bored of the "you should be grateful we still have a club to support" arguement.

I said it last week, and I'll say it again this week. I think many a manager would be under a serious amount of pressure to resign, and be getting loads of stick from fans with a record of 2 wins in 13, no home win and 2 points above the relegation zone, but it seems to me just because it's Micky Adams it's not an issue.

At this moment in time I'd take 20th place now at the end of the season however negative that sounds. To make any dent on a play off place will require an amazing turnaround in form and require a win in almost every 2 games, which having won 2 in 13 I can't see happening). I don't think we can afford to change manager again, but I just can't see where the next goal is going to come from let alone win. The other problem is that we've got several players on loan now - how many more can we get in at the same time, and if a forward or two does arrive, how long will it take for them to gel ?

Come on Micky, however short we are on forwards please try to play with two up front next week - today's formation was so negative and as soon as their goal went in it was pretty much game over. Time to give Robinson and Gatting a few games up front as Murray is likely to be out for two weeks (and possibly four games)?
