What a performance today!

Fantastic defensively and going forward. Man of the match by a distance though the commentators kept getting our centre backs mixed up all night and did again when he gave Dunk man of the match.

He’s becoming a really top class Premier League player and playing on the right of the back 3 rather than having to play on the left is making a massive difference to us.

He’s our best defender and one of our most important players IMO.

Totally agree, well done Adam [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

It feels risky, but Webster breaking forward into space is when we look dangerous. He’s had a good game today and unlucky not to score again.

I’d like to see him rather than White in midfield or RWB, better going forward and delivery better.

If he can just be a bit more pragmatic with his ambitious passes we've got a very good defender.

No absolutely not.
GPott has finally had his template forced upon him

When all fit

Lamptey Webster Dunk White March (or new signing)

Without Lamptey

Veltman Webster Dunk White.

That's it, no more fecking about.
Sanchez needs the stability.
White needs the stability.
Adam needs to be Dunks new lobster!

Still in Brighton
I can't keep up with Potter formations and then formation switches during games.

At times recently Webster has looked very comfortable on the "right-ish", striving forward more (and more effectively) and much, much more confident (which seems an issue in this team).

I wish Potter would sort this out and play him where he is most confident.

Would love to know how many goals he has scored - via deflections and OGs.

Totally not at fault today, but he has a knack of being in the unfortunate position.

He likes to be in the action like all good defenders do. He also likes to lead from the front with finishing the penalties off.

The man has balls of steel.

That ignores his his best attacking attribute, the ability to carry the ball into midfield and create overloads, which he did well again last night.

I think he's been excellent this season. He's an upgrade on Duffy and on a par with Dunk at the moment.

Could do a job as a holding midfielder. Has a bit of vision for a pass and not afraid to drive forwards, unlike most of the rest of the squad.
