A test to apply to the Lallana signing. If he was signing for Palace or Villa or Newcastle how would you feel?

I'd think they'd got themselves a bargain who could change games, even coming off the bench 20 times a season. I also know he'd pass anyones "no dickheads" rule, so would have a positive impact on their dressing rooms.

I'd probably wonder when we'll be in a posotion to attract and afford that sort of signing.

It was funny for a few weeks many years ago, obviously some people still think it’s funny. ( it’s not). It’s tedious and boring.
Grumpy out!!
It reminds me of the kids at school who try to be cool by parroting a "cool" word or phrase long after it has died

I wonder if people will ever stop peddling the Norwich gag, the Owen gag and the Kanchelskis gag on these threads. Do they still think they are humorous ?

Everyone’s humour is different. I can’t understand why people still flock to the temple of Crodo, and felt Enrest should have laid all of it, including the Cliftonville routine, to bed about 15 years ago, but people still lap that stuff up on here. Personally, I’ll always be up for an Owen/Kanchelskis/Grand Hotel gag though. Marvellous :lolol:

I wonder if people will ever stop moaning about repetitive gags on NSC? Do they think they are original and insightful?

With a bit of luck Naylor's waiting in his Mondeo outside the training ground, note book and pen in hand waiting with a pap.

Our medicals are thorough, it would be a big anti climax for it to all fall down now...

Given Lallana's injury record, this is a very sound concern. This certainly wouldn't be the first transfer that we've pulled out of because of a failed medical (albeit possibly the most high profile).

I think he had major heart surgery earlier in the year, after having been advised to stop playing indefinitely until it had been sorted out. He'd been out of action for some time, and it definitely hampered his career. It was a great spot by the Albion, and it might well have saved his life:-

Probably working!

What is his injury record? I honestly don’t know and am curious whether it is as bad as people keep saying or a over exaggerated myth.
