We cant afford to carry someone who is constantly injured. Not with our budget. I mean, there is unlucky and their is constantly injured! If this is true, and its another serious one, get rid. It's obviously reoccuring!

That's alright I'm sure that any prospective signing is going to be thrilled when he fines out that if he gets a major injury or two we'll get rid of him, great insentive. And has been said before recurring is the repeat of the same injury on the same part of the body ...
I tell you what Biscuit, I'll drive you round to Hinsh's place and you can tell him he's injury ridden burden on the club and he can sod off.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I can't begin to imagine how he is feeling right now. He deserves our support and hopefully we will see him back and raring to go sometime this year.

Take the pressure off him next time and rest him when possible.

Get well soon, Adam.

A year off work fully paid.....doesnt sound like a nightmare to me:shootself

Eighteen months ago, the guy was called up for for the England U21 Squad. Now he is battling to ever play football again. I would call that a nightmare.

Leave the guy alone, some people on here really are a total disgrace. He just wants to play football for the Albion at the highest level, and the club should totally support him through this.

I want to play the albion maybe they should sign me.

I've had mates who were in the Pompey Youth Academy and had to leave due to cruciate ligament damage or damaged knees, thats it career over. They are now working in various 'boring jobs'.

The guys no good if hes crocked twice at such a young age, unfortunately. As he was very promising this season :nono:

i've had an ACL replacement in my right knee and according to the surgeon it is stronger because of it. It still has occasional aches and twinges but on the whole is ok - i have been skiing 5 times in the last 3 years and play football twice a week with it.

Once his left knee is repaired it may be that he'll be ok. there are no more knees to knack! We then may have a new improved bionic hinsh at the back who can lead our defence for years to come..

also if a player is good enough they stick by their youth players with injuries, more often than not a player who was approaching the crucial contract offer or not age will get released injured and use that as an excuse. How many people have friends who say they were at such and such a club until they got injured - much easier to say that than that they were not up to the standard..

It's probably the knee that has created the problem, but this comes when he has been in his worst form of the season...

Of course you wouldn't let a player go if he was able to play in the future!

A policy like mine might attract players! By releasing the ones who, as sad as it is, seem doomed to the treatment room. This would free up wages to bring in players on free transfers. As said on another thread, it's rarely the fee thats the problem, its the wages.

So your a player and your agent finds you two prosepective clubs.
You have had a few major injuries in your career but you are now fully fit. The two clubs you have a choice to go to have different policies to retaining injured players.
The first one gives their players a reasonable chance when they have serious injuries to recover.
The second one gets rid of their players when they don't know the full prognosis of the injury.
I know which club I would pick!

Now everybody what does that word mean ?

Adam Hinshelwood has a reputation for motivating players in the build-up to games. A Charlie Oatway who can play a bit.

Ah yes...."CONTRACT"......this means you,re ok for money, no matter how you perform.......but if someone from another club offers more money for your services.....means....DIDDLEY SQUAT.

By the way...I,d like the club to look after Hinsh...

Poor lad.

That is so unfair on him.

The Mouldys wish him well and hope he can recover from it .

I am sure with his spirit he will have the never say die attitude.

Good Luck Adam.

Whe are we likely to hear this officially, seems weird that we haven't given the suggested extent of the injury on this thread?

Is this FACT or just a rumour???
