I am not saying what Adam El Abd is alleged to have said is right but do you think an 11 year old has not heard far worse at school.

I was talking to a customer in a pub when I did a relief and she told me that she was a teacher of 7 yr olds and at least once a week she is told to F.Off bya pupil in her class, not always the same one.

So do we in society try to rectify it or accept this slipping of morale standards?

I would have had the hiding of my life from my father if I had used langauge like that. even as a 15 year old.

But society has changed in some ways for the worse. Younger people are less stiff upper lip than those born in the early fifties like myself. I saw Glen Wilson play but never met him. I have however met a few players from that era whose language was pretty ripe.

Actually Mona you started me thinking of players in those days that really took stick from fans.
Players Like Georgie Waites, Tony Nicholas and Teddy Maybanks were turned to jelly by the fans, but I cant honestly remember any of them retaliating to the crowd.
