So you can boo him and slag him off all the time but he's not allowed to say f*** all back?

What a load of bollocks.

Booing makes you a bad fan.

NOBODY on here is a bad fan so NOBODY on here would have booed him.

I know lets put him on Ebay that'll be f***ing hysterical :nono:

Yes.

He is a PROFESSIONAL footballer ffs. He HAS to be above it.

Last season Lee Trundle held a banner labelled 'f*** off Cardiff'

Is that allowed?
No. Hence the reason he got charged with something. (I seem to remember)

But that argument don't work when the beloved "Tank" spouts off on here does it?

When he did that everyone was on his side.

NSC the original home of double standards.

Yeah but "Tank" is great.

He should get a 5 year contract.

We are paying to be there. In return, there should be effort and commitment, as well as some evidence of skill and ability. El-Abd didn't show any of that, and as such deserves all the boos and jeers he gets. If he can't cope with that, then he's in the wrong job.
Plus I wonder how many parents won't take thier kids back after seeing those actions.

Boo if you want ( I personally never boo players apart from Kuipers) I suppose you're paying your hard earned cash, but dont start whinging when players get annoyed with it and have their say.

Lets put the shoe on the other foot, Brighton fans have been awful support wise away from this season at times (brentford springs to mind) but you wouldn't like it if the players came up at the end of the match and started shouting about how shit you had been, you'd soon start having a go back. It works both ways.

I didn't see it as I was in W Block but I think he should get severly punished if true.

I don't think we should sack him, maybe just a fine and dropped from the squad till the end of the season (give a youngster a try)

Why? What has he done wrong? IMO just responded the way anyone else would have done. Good on him.

We sit behind the home dugout and to us it looked like Adam said fu**ing c**ts two or three times.

At first I thought it was to a player in the away bench but it was clearly aimed at the fans.

There was a lot of booing around us. I never think it's that advantagous to boo or get on your own players' backs, but it's understandable the home fans are getting frustrated.

I think Adam's a great competitor and is committed to the cause, I do not know why he had this outburst but if nothing else at least he is getting worked up.

As for the fans, often they sit on their hands for most of the match then boo at the end - yes, we pay their wages but also would be great to shout and make some noise now and then.

We have the making of a great side and I believe it's about confidence. Adam shouldn't have sworn at kids in the stands but at least he showed some passion.

Had he had done that during the game he would have been sent off and suspended for 3 games.

El-Abd should be a role model to all Brighton fans and should not behave in that manner, even if some people like yourself and I are not offended, others will be, especially if they have young children with them.
