What so if there's 4 minutes added time and there's a 10 minutes stoppage in that added time an extra 10 minutes have to be played

Think of it like this: There is a countdown timer that says 4 minutes. If there is a stoppage for example after 2 minutes, the timer is paused. Ten minutes later when the game recommences, the count down is started again and those remaining two minutes are played. 14 minutes will have elapsed from when it was announced there would be 4 additional minutes, however, only 4 minutes of that 14 was actual playing time, the other ten were part of the stoppage.

I had respect for Arsenal's attacking part of their game (but can't defend!),

but Arsene Whinger is such a bad loser, and getting worse.

Eboue clearly fouled Lucas, and also BBC totted up the stoppage time which was perfect. Well done Dalglish for a home-truth, and for match officials who weren't homers.

Yeah this is what i meant, i thought you were all saying the 10 minutes would also have to be played on top of the stoppage time

You and EK allow your prejudices to dictate what you say about Liverpool. Kenny Dalglish says it's the best club in the world because he believes it is-it's quite simple really. As much as you'd like it to be how you're portraying it-you know it isn't like that. Just the same as when Taggart retires-he'll be saying those same type of things.

Not quite sure how you say I or Edna are "portraying" it tbh. Dalglish may indeed believe Liverpool are the Best Club in the World, but there are one or two inconvenient TRUTHS that could perhaps get in the way of that rather grandiose declaration.

Given those facts, I have to suspect that Kenny is playing to the crowd somewhat with that kind of statement. He's preaching to the converted so he gets another contract. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, but lets not dress it up - he's playing politics with the owners of LFC and feathering his own nest. Thats all. Prejudice doesn't come in to it chap.
