Champions League round of 16 first leg

Should be a great game. Only two English teams left in the competition and Arsenal will be under dogs in this one, English football not the force it once was?

I think so, but given the media bubble we live in, it will take years for people to realise this. I remember watching the Bayern Munich v Man City game with some mates, and the commentators were going nuts about the fact that the amazing City were 2-0 down away from home. Are they not aware that Bayern are um, quite good? I think there is a definite lack of respect from English football towards the rest of Europe at times.

Bayern are probably third favorites to win the thing! Also hate how we hear nothing about the awful season the Manchester clubs are having - they only have the premier league to play for. All we hear about it how Wenger and Villas-boas should be sacked because they're struggling to qualify for the Champs league - at least they're still in the competition

Pitch looks in awful nick. Apparently the two flanks have recently been relaid. Watching on TV you can really notice the ball moving differently across the newly laid surface. No doubt Wenger has this lined up as an excuse.

After scoring, why would you run past the guy who crossed the ball for you, do a crappy dance.... Oh hold on, Robinho. Enough said

Undone by a Spurs reject (who is admittedly a good player now) and a Man City reject. Arsenal have been all over the place and the likes of Arteta, Ramsey and Rosicky are out of their depth.

In London village.
Snigger. 3-0 down and the commentary going on about Stevenage v. Spurs.

The good news is that there will be plenty of tickets going spare for the second leg for anyone who fancies watching a match at The Emirates.
