WAY too many arrogant shits who believe they are God's gift. You can bet your life there will be traders all over the City laughing their socks off at Lehman Brothers demise and KNOWING it will never happen to them cos they're so much smarter. Yeah, right. f*** 'em. Like they say in the City 'If you want a friend, buy a dog'.

Ok. as somebody who is currently sitting at a desk in the Lehman's building, let me just make a couple of points..
1. Staff were not locked out, they were free to come and go (mostly go!)
2. It was not all a bunch of city boys who are out of a job, there's back room staff, many of whom have worked for Lehmans for years, earning an average wage, who were leaving the building in tears whilst the piranahs from the press stuck camera lenses in their faces
3. Parts of Lehmans continue to trade.
4. As part of the security team, we have been told by the administrators (PwC) that we are "buiding critical" so for now we still have jobs(for how long we don't know, which is why we are all polishing the CV's!). The tenants continue to operate as usual.
5. The restaurant is still open:yahoo: :yahoo:
