Abdallah Sima is reportedly "close" to joining Rangers on loan from Brighton.
The striker, 22, has been put on the loan list by Seagulls boss Roberto de Zerbi and it is claimed that the Ibrox outfit are leading the race to bring him in this summer to join new hitman Sam Lammers who has already arrived from Atalanta. Sima earned a £7million switch to the Premier League after flourishing at Slavia Prague where he previously turned out against Gers.

It is in isolation, but in the context of Albion transfer dealings a £7m 'loss' is a perfectly acceptable price to pay, tor the business model Mr Bloom wishes to follow.

....and are we really getting our £7M back in loan fees? It hasn't been mentioned as a loan-to-buy, has it? - I don't think SPL teams (apart from Celtic) can afford £7M anyway.
