Spoke to someone i know who goes this route daily, at rush hour this morning it took about 30 minutes longer to get through Falmer and going back towards Eastbourne about 20 minutes longer - going to be chaos, might have to consider parking up in Lewes and getting the train from there.

I can't even get to the A259, option is using country lanes to get to the A22 then go via Lewes, but would take ages, but is it quicker ??

Just sailed past a23 turnoff on the a27 eastbound and just passing hollingbury turn off, looks no worse than normal so far
