Here is one I have just thought of. When I set the dishwasher off how come the number of minutes to finish in the little LED window varies even though I am using the same programme. I usually use quick wash, time varies from a low of around 28 minutes but tonight when there wasn't very much stuff in it the window showed 38 minutes for the same programme?
