From reinheitsgebot era/style, I love wheat beers. My favourites include Schneider and Weihanstephaner, plus Andechers but I did get into an argument with someone who worked at their brauhaus so they lose points. He was wearing a glittery magic waistcoat , so I felt entirely vindicated.

More cutting edge is Furst Wiacek, from Berlin , that make incredible stouts - hopefully endorsed by @Herr Tubthumper

I know them very well. A superb brewery. They went from start up to being in numerous respected bars in about 6 months.

Interestingly they only got into stouts recently. They concentrated on, and mastered, the hazy pale ale so I guess they had to change things up.
