This is probably THE best game ever.

Utterly unrivaled for a first person shooter. The day I can play this on my iphone will be the greatest day of my life.

Speedball was a cracking game on the Amiga. But nothing surpasses Sensible World of Soccer, I remember John Spencer having a hammer shot and scoring goals for fun back in 1992!

This is 16 years old so does it count for this?

Used to love these days of computing. I remember the computer shop in Brighton called Gamer. Used to go every Saturday. Loads of Spectrum and Commodore 64 games.
Remember everyone used to crowd around the Amiga and watch this demo. That was the must have computer at the time.

A MILLION time yes.

Still haven't found an FPS that rivals that. We had an N64 in our common room during 6th Form - we'd regularly have a 4 person deathmatch before classes started...then completely ignore them and carry on playing all day. We always used to put it on 1 hit kills to make it more interesting too.

Might break that out on my N64 later.

The best cricket 'management' game ever to exist. Insanely addictive. Mushy was unreal on it.

He could bag 100 wickets in a season, NO problem!

It has to be Star Raiders for me on the Atari.
Managed to rise through the ranks from Galactic Cook to Second Lieutenant.

Never mind that, if you go to www.game-oldies.com you can play games, emulated in browser, from NES, Master System, SNES, Megadrive, arcade, Game Boy...

Here's another on, for some reason I always remember Albuquerque in the middle of the map somewhere, never found all the trophies before running out of fuel.
