Which consoles were Sensi on, or was it PC? Want to try and dig this out? Think it was Sensible World of soccer I enjoyed.

Land of the Chavs
Galaxians
Scramble
All of the Sonics on Megadrive
Unreal tournament
Duke nukem
Crystal castles

Do these all count as old?

I remember Space Invaders where the score only went up to 9990. Reach that and walk away to be guaranteed the high score.

1st ever game was Football Manager on Spectrum.
Also remember playing Bomb Jack, never used to have a joystick so buttons on computer keyboard used to get a battering.
Always played Double Dragon down arcades in West Street and Track and Field (skin on palms of hand took a battering too and took weeks to recover)

Back in the day I used to have a good old spectrum 128k plus2. wasted hours away playing all the dizzy games. Outrun was also a favourite. just a nightmare having to load every single level.

So many memories reading this thread!

Axelay on SNES is a fond memory including many others, manic miner, double dragon, streets of rage and latterly (for me) the original sonic, Mario kart etc and Zelda ocarina of time.

Remember Gamer in East street fondly as well as another shop in Jubilee market in Jubilee Gardens, anyone else?!

But my all time fave, a miracle of gaming at the time, they managed to fit THE ENTIRE GALAXY on to a 800k floppy disk.....

I remember leaving my Asp mk II parked up somewhere near the centre of the galaxy. Couldn't quite make it to the centre before the hyperdrive gave out from lack of maintenance.

New Elite game looks likes it's gonna be 10 tons of awesome....
