Where in the Bible does it say no women priests? Where in the Bible does it say no contraception?

The Catholic re-write of books as they were originally recorded has condemned women to being second class citizens for centuries now.

Aids in the Third World is a pandemic disaster, yet the Roman Catholic Church does not endorse the use of condoms.

I have formally asked for there to be NO minute's silence.
We want to create an atmosphere!!!!!!!!

though that means we now miss out on the loners 'not obeying' the silence and talking to themselves...that would have been far more entertaining :lolol:

Personally for me I'm glad to hear that there won't be a minute's silence for the Pope at the game. I think that there have been too many of them of late anyway and I'm not sure why there should be one for the Holy Father at football matches. The Catholics among us have better ways of honouring John Paul II than a meaningless gesture at a football match.

I appreciate that many football fans do not share my faith nor hold the Pope in the high regard that I do. The threat of having him abused during a minutes silence as some have suggested that they would do was not a pleasant prospect. In fact, if it had happened I would have walked out and I would have never returned.

So lets leave the gestures of respect for those for whom it means something.

I understand that there will NOT now be a minute's silence for the Pope at Withdean on Saturday. Well done to everybody who registered their dissent.
Excellent news.

I can't imagine any of the many Catholic members of my family being anything other than embarrassed at the crassness of this sort of meaningless public gesture.

Millions of people have been moved by the death of the Pope. None of those millions need an extra minute at Withdean.

Is the Pope a Catholic?

Is he?

No wonder no one wanted to come to my bonfire party last november.

By the way, what a load of the usual NSC fuss over nothing
