A few Albion 'fans' being nationalistic ****s on the train last night...a rare occurrence?

The human race can be split into three categories; those below average intelligence, those of average intelligence and those above average intelligence. Unfortunately, you came across a group of the former. Best to ignore them and leave them to get on with their simple pleasures, for simple is what they are.

I guess the human race can also be split into those who sound like a pompous @rse and those that don't - and you sit squarely in the first category!
I have no idea who this group was - but it may well be some of the lads who drink in the Railway Bell who over the last few weeks have been raising money in support of a fellow Albion fan (and his family) who is seriously ill with cancer culminating in a fund-raising do last night in the pub which has raised £8,000- in total - just saying!

Sure. As with all wars. On both sides. The world has moved on

That's the trouble with you being a foreigner, you wouldn't understand that they (the IRA) were the other side , and they murdered lots of people from the "side" you claim to be a part of , and lots of people from that side who did lose loved ones don't find it as easy to move on as a New Zealander who wasn't affected in any way, and , and take a bit of offence at being told to do so.
