A copper wants to use your toilet...

What do you think about this...

The below was posted on another message board (digital spy) although I have no idea about the authenticity of it whatsoever. I'd be very surprised if it were to be true, to be honest.

"I read that one police force has reviewed its health and safety policy and whilst not wanting to encourage officers to return to the police station for refreshments, they are keen for breaks to be taken in public areas.

Acknowledging that public toilet facilities aren't always readily available, it has been suggested that especially in residential areas, police officers should consider asking householders if they could use their 'facilities' as most people would have no objection.

If a copper knocked at your door and asked to use your toilet, would you be happy to let him in to do so?"

...so, how would you react to a cross-legged copper knocking at your door?

:D

Isn't it true that if you have a certain bladder disease you get given a card which basically allows you to use toilets wherever you like, in shops at least? I can't remember more details at the moment!

Get pregnant as pregnant women can piss in the street.

But £80 fine if you are just going anywhere else.

In the last 5 years 12 public toilets that i can name off the top of my head have been closed in Worthing:tosser: councillers

I've no problem with them asking. I'd probably offer them a cuppa and a hob nob too if they wanted it.

I can't think of any public toilets in the St James' Street area of Brighton, where I work. If I was caught short I would have to make a dash back to work.

The lack of public toilets in Brighton is a complete disgrace.

I guess I'd probably let a bursting copper into my house for a wee - but I would be less keen if he needed a no.2 !!!!!

Definitely. They provide a very good service to us Brits.

Although not in my last flat, as my flatmate was cultivating 8 rather strong smelling marijuana plants.

I would even dust off the best toilet roll for Edna*.

* I haven't met her. I am assuming she is not a gun toting, heacy handed copper.

Can't really see why anyone should have to let a copper into their home for a pee.

there is an obvious solution to this dilemna that a police officer might face.

Bowel diseases, Crohns etc, you definitely get given a card to allow you access to staff toilets even where there are no public ones

Guess the same principle would apply to bladder diseases but haven't heard that for sure
