Amazing stat, we haven't had a single LBW in the series so far and only 5% of our bowled balls in the series would have hit the stumps! Maybe a reason why we have taken the top order a few times against the Aussie aggressive players who are more likely to edge it but struggled to destroy the tail who are more likely to be bowled or LBW?

Good point. You've got to make batsmen play. Can't understand why a yorker is such a stand-out delivery.

Lucky wicket that, edged onto his leg then hit the stumps, good stuff from Stokes 51-2. Rankin bowling some loose stuff here with the odd good ball, lacking rhythm though.

You can't bowl Yorkers all the time, it's a surprise ball. Can't use them too often as if the bowler gets it wrong and drifts down leg you get carted and if it is outside off the batsman can watch it go by . Also they can be awful for keepers, lots of byes or stubbed fingers.

This is already looking like another disaster. We've got two wickets but one of those a gimme, not really beating the bat and the clouds lifting. Aus to score 400+ again I fear...

Another wicket in the next 17 minutes would provide some justification for inserting the opposition after having finally won the toss at the 5th attempt. That decision says to me how little confidence England have batting at the moment.

78/3. Good wicket that but why are the celebrations so subdued? Something very wrong in that camp if you can't get excited about getting Clarke out for 10...
