I wouldn't go quite as far as letting them win 7-0, we should at least put up a bit of a fight to retain a little bit of dignity...but you are spot on about the Ashes...the urn is ours!

For me, the batting is still a SERIOUS problem. I actually don't think the batting was that much better, with the exception of Morgan. It is no good players going out and scoring their averages; to win one day games you need one or two batsmen to make big scores. It was clearly a batting wicket, which is why we got to a decent total and the Aussies chased it so well. Yes the fielding was bad, and the bowling was only average, but they appear to be a one off, rather than a systematic failure.
