Looking back on this match has made me think long and hard about my liberal wishy washy opinions. I'm beginning to favour electric shock treatment. So many rash shots gave wickets away and a lot of dropped catches. Sit those players down, wire them up, replay the video and push the button.

A great knock and obviously the long-term solution to who opens with Cook, but what about the final two Tests? Root?

Could do the job but wont go abroad which started the problems we had with an opener to partner Cook. Hopefully Hameed has stepped up where others have failed.
