Seriously though I had a quick skim so I may have missed the analysis and comparisons of Christian and Muslim brutality from a respected historian. All I saw was a load of biased nonsense about cherry picked sections of history. I may have missed it though so please feel free to post.

Now, I fully realize that the previous paragraph is one-sided, that the six centuries of Muslim colonial, imperialist occupation were more complex than are shown in the previous paragraphs, and that the Christians were not always blameless, little babes. However, the previous paragraph has the benefit of not being an outright lie, which is more than I can say for the U.S. News article.

I believe that if I had the time, I could show that the Muslims, in their western imperialist, colonialist, bloody conquests, killed two to three times as many Christians as the Christians killed Muslims in all of the Crusades combined.

The guy said their was a kill ratio of up to 3/1. So how many others outside the middle East were butchered to top up the ratio. Its not biased, your just plainly ignorant.

That is the $64,000 question. Personally, I think ISIS will collapse from within, and even if there may be 30,000 foreign fighters I don't think more than a quarter of that will be from Western Europe. Burning the pilot was a very bad move.

The Christian writer did give a potted history of Islam (I don't think we can trust this info and assume it is unbiased given the publication he writes for and that he all but admits his won bias). Even if we were to accept this as an accurate history of Islam you could only use this as evidence if you included the same for Christianity. Once again you have failed to compare the two religions and have just posted information about Islam from a Christian source.

What your article talks about is the brutality of Islams on Christians it fails to include any information about Muslims brutality to other religions including their own. Just as it fails to offer little if any evidence of Christian brutality or barbarism.

maybe none of it is false but what is for certain is that it fails to give the balance view you are looking for to prove your point.

Just out of interest do you consider a ratio of 3-1 to be "dwarfing" and "not comparable"?

the headmaster of their school in Bethnal Green has said he doesnt believe they have gone to Syria to be with ISIS he thinks they have simply gone abroad on a holiday together and have just been naughty teenagers and not told their parents.

no doubt chap they will be back after half term to resume studies

They can then come to the football, pre match train gins from M&S are mandatory, and a good old spit and swear whilst we lose 0-2. Then afterwards we can head back to Brighton for the evening with the intention of securing double figures with some shameless flirting with the lovelies behind the jumps.

If there is still room a final few gins in a late night establishment (casino possible) and then a final squaring of the circle with a jaunt down to the all night cafe.

I have enjoyed visiting numerous muslim countries more than you or I would enjoy each other's company. So it's a no from an otherwise.

What utter rubbish. ISIS is said to be a minumum of 30,000 strong. Not even remotely close to that number of 30,000 came from 2nd and 3rd generation muslims from western countries.

1939....Jewish population representing 5% of Berlin was 160,000

1945....Jewish population 8,000. 55,000 murdered,7,000 committed suicide, 90,000 emigrated.

I did actually spend 3 years in Jena, Erfurt etc etc...not a bad place....but fear not, I won't be returning.
