Makes me laugh the way the commentators try to defend things, it’s a decent ball, but he could have left that based on length, that’s the one job you expect an opening bat to be good at, opening batsman are meant to be able to face the ball when it’s at its newest, ours have proven time and time again they can’t, that being said there’s not exactly a plethora of options.
