Van Hecke heading to Sunderland
Tolaj to Salford.
Also imminent. Clarke sale (Sunderland) and JPVH loan ? (Sheff Utd/Blackburn)
Potter said this yesterday about Van Hecke.."it is essentially the balancing act, yes. Ultimately that is the decision we have to make.
"It is influenced a little bit by the player and the player's career. At the same time we need to go, 'Okay, what are the chances of him playing regularly with us and taking those steps that we need him to take?' If he has got a really good option to go and play that is also beneficial for him and to us in the medium-long term, so that is the decision.".

Thought it was more likely Clarke to Middlesbrough and van Hecke to Sunderland? A couple of grim destinations for them, though Newcastle's not too far away and the countryside is lovely.

Interesting when you look at it? A squad of 29 with 1 long term injury and 5 linked with moves away? Can certainly see 1 or 2 incomings unless we have high hopes of a few step up's from the U23's?
Potter regularly had 2-3 u21 subs as part of the 9 (Ferguson, offiah, Roberts, Leonard) last year and likes (I think) working with a relatively small squad.

Just got to find Andone a home now
We should also loan Ferguson if Maupay leaves and is replaced by a new signing.
Moves for Clarke and Kozlowski could be close.
van Hecke loan may have got less likely.
Maupay still a real possibility of going.
Andone's move to Real Zaragoza has gone quiet. Maybe he'll just be paid off next week.
So 4 games into the season, 3rd in the league, and into the next round of the Carabao Cup. Now we've had a chance to see the squad in action, what transfer business is left to do before the window slams shut?
