I think, from our perspective, it's going to be a case of sit tight and see what happens. The club are giving nothing away, and there's nothing to indicate that we're in for anyone. I really hope that's not the case.

We will always have targets, just need to wait now and see if one falls our way, now or in January.

Excluding Zeqiri, Andone and Izzy, we have 10 players who are not defenders or goalkeepers (11 if you count March I suppose).

For a compressed season with inevitable injuries, and a pandemic liable to strike out a chunk of your squad at one time. I really hope we know what we’re doing...

But if we do include them we have 13 of our 27 players in positions that occupy only 5/11 positions on the pitch in our most likely formation. That leaves just 14 defender/goalkeepers for the remaining 6 positions. #need another defender

A few genuine questions:
So, we do have to name under 21 players in the squad then?
..... but they don't count towards the maximum of 25?
Can we play other U21s who have not been allocated a squad number, like Cashman or Jenks?
Do U21s included in the squad count towards our required number of HGPs?
......and why do the numbers go right up to 49? Why the gaps?
