Sevilla manager reported as confirming Barco is still not training with the squad and ‘looking for a way out’.

Pimienta - “The truth is that he is looking for a way out. It happens that these things never know when they will arrive, but the normal thing would be for Valentín to go out. And yes, for me it would be quite important for a left-back to come because I think the squad needs it."

I’ve been watching several of their training videos in the past few weeks to see if I could spot him but he’s not in any of them. However, Deportivo reporting he apparently has a slight hamstring issue.

..."Brighton have also shown an interest in Rosenberg midfielder Sverre Nypan though there is steep competition" (Arsenal and Manchester City).

As just mentioned on another thread - rumours Brighton is amonst a number of Clubs, including AV, to sign the next Mitoma. Mirror claiming we have approached South Korean Club, Daejeon Hana Citizen for 18 year old Do-young Yun

If he is as good in real life as on paper, the competition to sign him will be high.

Feel sorry for Barco. Hasn't worked out how he was expecting. Saw him v Liverpool and Man City. Great technique, probably league is a lot more physical than expected for him.
Any updates on A MAZILU ? Thought by now he would be training after injury.

Whilst watching a snippet of Brentford's Thomas Frank's press conference on SkySportsNews, he's replying to reporters questions about Brighton and Forest's interest in Yoane Wissa.
He basically stated he doesn't want to lose him and hopes he's not going anywhere.

So probably an big non-story, but I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere on NSC.

I like Webster and wouldn’t want him to go now, especially with Igor out for the season. He’s going to see lots of minutes. Even if we bring a guy in with him going out, time to adjust, get up to speed, the customary injury, and suddenly it’s the start of March and almost season over.

If it has to happen, the summer is the time. I hope we tell them to do one, if the rumour is true.

Just in? 🤣 Read it somewhere or made it up in his bedroom in Yorkshire with his 600 followers all waiting for his word 🤦🏻‍♂️
Well of course it’s not ‘just in’. 😂

Reported this morning on Footballinsider that Brighton was pushing forward with a £20m bid

Yep - this.

I would think the last thing we would be doing is getting rid of defenders or strikers unless we have deals for ready replacements in the pipeline. Hürzeler is surviving injuries because of the depth of the squad.

It’s not all gloomy - there are some clubs that will need to spend money (Spurs were practically defenceless going into this window (Anyone looked at their GD stats recently!?); West Ham down to one foreward, Man United desparately need attacking options etc So the chances of us picking up some talented youngsters could be very good - but at a price we would be willing to pay, I can’t see any U21s being adequate to step in to the 1st team.

Edit - unless perhaps they were an 18 yr old Swedish winger
