so basically await cuts in the service!
Should of been defunded.

Then GBNews would be able to compete on a level playing field.

Which aspects of Brexit have convinced you that you’d do it all again?
I am prepared to wager good money that a considered response will not be forthcoming.

I see at as a legacy of a nation that can no longer sustain the level of government services, not least because other nations have caught up as indeed was inevitable. The NHS is almost impossible to maintain at its current level, for example.
Why can the NHS not be funded? Other countries manage to fund a healthcare system with sufficient capacity.

Nope - I'd had a couple of interviews with both of them them and they both said they wanted proceed but when the rumours about ENIC started to become much louder they both said they wanted to pause recruitment until after finding out what the budget would bring. They both have now stated they won't be hiring anyone into the roles.
Some MUG done something similar to me.. 🤫😉

I think what @jcdenton08 and others mean it isn't flashy, gimmicky, partisan, bumptious and egregiously political, like the mountain of shit we had under Johnson and his desiccated pygmy successors.
Even the jokes were boring.

When she delivered the private jets joke the delivery was let down by her not staring a Sunak after the punchline, she went too early.

This is someone though who I took as someone who’s not used to mucking around and is competent, which is what we need

Not a great outcome for you, however I would question the financial standing of a company that changes recruitment policy off the back of a 2% employer NI rise, in the long run this may be a blessing

Good luck anyway

Tax and spend, lies and broken trust - this must be historically the worse budget in living history
I actually tutted when I read that.

You're just being silly now.

(When you've dried your bed, would you mind making me a cup of tea?)

Banning the export of live animals is a good one.
Are you saying that had we stayed in the EU we would be forced to export live animals?

Crikey.

By charging.

There is no equivalent to the NHS.

Was going to say the same - I'd be very hesitant to join a company in that position. A few months of bad performance and you'd be the first to be made redundant.

Yes. hopefuly we can ban the import of Dutch veal and foie gras too
Forced to export live animals you said.

We have never been forced to export live animals.

And we have never been forced to import foie gras.

I don't think you understand how trade works. Or laws.

That's deliberately manipulating my response (and you know it). You also know that in the EU we were unable to stop the export of livestock or the import of various animal products. I didn't suggest people were force fed like geese, rather that we can now ban imports of low animal welfare products. I have quite a good understanding of the laws in this area thank you. I was only trying to suggest a positive of leaving the EU. People who treat animals badly also tend to do the same to people, just a thought.
