If I am not mistaken, there is literally an observer shown in that very video.

Edit: 57 seconds in, lady in the green jumped, behind the yellow ticker tape. Got to be an observer?

Indeed, and the fact they have tape would seem to suggest it is to keep these observers at a distance.

That person may well be a manager / staff, and not an observer, in which case why the hell did the Fox News Editor go with that footage for this story?

I'm shocked that Ted Cruz - a former Republican leadership candidate and someone who has been humiliated by Trump on more than one occasion - is sounding as rabid as Trump and Guiliani.

Day 4 of The Test and with Trump kicking off with a terrific innings slowly putting singles onto the board followed by a flurry of 4s and 6s, Biden has continued to slog away consistently with 1s and 2s, playing a straight bat and focused on the ball rather than just pleasing the crowd.

It's been a fine test, but with Trump the slogger now looking knackered and desperate, Biden only needs a few runs in the last over to win this.

If only rain wasn't stopping play all the time we might have got to a result faster.

Those with tickets for Day 5 do not worry. We are sure your money will not have been wasted.

Apologies if posted before.

If you fancy some beautiful parody - this Kenyan journalist is reporting on the US election is the style of a Western journalist covering an African election.

Meanwhile, this week the US have maintained a straight face whilst calling on leaders in Ivory Coast to respect the democratic process

I've just imagined Biden as being like Boycott. Though less of a ****.

Trump could lose more than just the presidency this January. Twitter has confirmed that, if he leaves office in January, as now seems increasingly likely, he will no longer receive special treatment as “newsworthy individual”.

Twitter’s policy around newsworthiness protects certain people – such as elected officials with more than 250,000 followers – from having their accounts suspended or banned for rule infractions which would otherwise lead to severe penalties.

That policy is what has led to the company muting, but not removing, 12 tweets and counting from the president over the past week, as he continues to break the social network’s rules about casting doubt on the democratic process.

But, Twitter has confirmed, the policy does not apply to former elected officials. They have to follow the same rules as everyone else, and if a tweet breaks those rules, it gets removed – with the account potentially following for regular offenders.

That will present Trump with a choice, if he is indeed removed from office in late January: either tone down the rhetoric, just as the humiliation bites hardest, or face the prospect of his hugely influential following being taken away from him.

He could always sign up to Parler.

Assuming Biden does win, it would be good to be a fly on the wall at the traditional tea party between Mr and Mrs Biden and Mr and Mrs Trump!

You can bet they've got some pictures of Ted with a Texas prostitute somewhere.

Those Trump boys sounds desperately angry. I mean like desperate! Like desperately worried that they are going down!

My hope is that reasoned Republicans are using this as the opportunity to watch them squirm and if Big Don loses, then they'll go after them all. All those fingers in pies, that's all coming out when the White House protection has gone. Plus Don Jr probably thought he was a shoe-in for 2024.

Yep.

Do you remember when Obama gracefully welcomed Trump to the White House at the Inauguration even after Trump had slagged him off mercifully. Can't see the same courtesy being afforded to Joe Biden.

Trump went to court for observers to be allowed in. This is how it was reported by The Guardian...........

'The Trump campaign’s strategy on Thursday was built around a claim that its observers in the city were not being given adequate access to observe the count. Even though observers from both parties have been given access to the convention center, the Trump campaign complained its observers had not been able to get close enough. It secured a court order Thursday morning allowing observers to get up to six feet of workers counting.

Pam Bondi, the former Florida attorney general, and Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s former campaign manager, appeared in front of the convention center throughout the day, and continued to claim the campaign was not being given adequate access. But when the campaign went to federal court, a lawyer for the campaign admitted the campaign had observers in the hall.'

My guess in this one was that many counting stations had a 2m (6.5ft) limit for observation. The legal case for Trumpians would be that the 0.5ft extra meant that Republican observers were not able to observe properly.

They have whipped this into the line ‘there are no observers’ and their support are buying it hook, line and sinker.

Could the result be overturned on 0.5ft? You’d worry if it got all the way to the Supreme Court.

Trump tries to break into the Hawk-Eye and UDRS executive box, to beat up the officials. Whilst accusing the Test Match Special team of “FAKES NEWS” after they relayed the current scorecards over the airwaves

Or George Bush senior to Clinton, after one term? Partizan propaganda abandoned.

Death by thousand cuts.

You're right, it's perfect because it isn't just 1 city or state he can say has fraud, Trump has to say 4 states or so are all corrupt - some of which are traditionally Republican! No wonder Republicans are now starting to actively disown him.

Its heartbreaking isn't it. :lolol:

He'll probably resign so Pence has to do it instead.

The slim margin of Biden’s current lead in Georgia falls squarely into recount territory in the state — 0.5 percent or under.
