Witnesses said they heard large bang which sparked panic among people leaving the arena

All train lines out of Manchester Piccadilly are blocked. Emergency services in attendance. SKY News.

From what I have seen looks like either light exploded or a speaker blew a cone and everyone panicked but time will tell.

I wish they would close down Twitter and Facebook, this is an example why, never used it, never will.

Social media in general is terrible when there is limited actual info

When you have mass scale panic like this you will have injuries as people fall get trampled etc not surprising there is a big response by the emergency services.

I wish they would close down Twitter and Facebook, this is an example why, never used it, never will.

I once saw the aftermath of a suicide bomber in Southeast Turkey. That was enough for me. Also some horrifying pictures from Syria. Don't use either of those sites anymore apart from BHA

Lack of info after 40 minutes is surprising.

Eyewitnesses sound shocked but safe and unable to provide much.
