So hard they let children scratch its back.

Anyone care to explain how this is hard?
When are badgeristas going to be on here to tell us that this is in fact EVIDENCE of the badger clawing the boy's eyes out and eating his gonads for breakfast?

Wow, I just came across the article 'snake venom' on Wiki after seeing that the Honey Badger is immune. "Wow!" I thought, "I wonder what other animals are immune to snake venom".

Let me tell you. Other animals immune to snake venom consist of; The "HARD" Hedgehog. The "DANGEROUS" Dormouse, and don't forget the "SCARY" Squirrel. The Honey Badger sure is in good company...

ORCA, Get in!!

Can we have an Orca smiley to emphasise any "hard" behaviour?

Its never a quiet day for the Double Hard Honey Badgerite's. Quite clearly there has been an Amir Kahn type interference here and I would like a recount!

I see the honey badger and its team as the Dastardly and Muttley of the competition (with the HB itself very much being Muttley). They fail every year because they spend so much time using underhand methods trying to derail the other candidates: getting the polar bear withdrawn because it kept whipping the crap out of the HB, ballot-stuffing last year, rejigging the draw this year to get more favourable opponents, and generally spreading ridiculous lies about opponents that backfire and only reflect badly on the HB.

If only they just got on wiith the task in hand and sped to the end of the race they might be in with a genuine crack at it...

That is CLEARLY a Honey Badger bred in CAPTIVITY, this is about as relevant as the poncey trained Orcas at SEAWORLD.

The Khan fight was swung on a couple of points in a couple of rounds ...... i'm afraid an 18 point defeat is quite an emphatic KO

I dont think you will find badgeristas are that way inclined.

I sense an injustice but we move on for a bigger and better campaign next year.

Well done ORCA.

What a pity that would be. But I think it's unlikely - we've got two proper hard animals here. It's almost like a home game for the might orca, being a MAMMAL will appeal to the neutrals. But the black mamba has come from absolutely nowhere thanks to some devastating talk and you can't write it off at all.

It's going to be an absolute classic.

Agreed - I, for one, am very undecided at present on this one. Will wait and see some of the arguments posted in the thread I suppose...
