This. People don't seem to GET what makes something 'hard'. It doesn't mean 'most dangerous' or 'kills most humans'. It means can take care of itself against something bigger than it, and is possibly slightly mentally unhinged. Badger/Cassowary should (on those criteria) meet in the final. But money on the f***ing shark will win the whole thing, 'cause the Honey Badger might as well be called the Marmalade Gerbil to those who don't get what a mentalist it is. However if the rabbit was happy to take on a human, which is many times it's size, surely that would make the rabbit pretty f***ing hard, right? Harder than a tiger, which is bigger than a human and could beat it easily.

HARD isn't being able to beat something up that is smaller and weaker than you. Is it? Why cant you understand this? What is so difficult to grasp?

Noone is suggesting that a honey badger is as dangerous to humans as a buffalo. Lets make that perfectly clear. Is that PERFECTLY clear now?

Maybe we should just do a 'Which animal would win in a fight' competition. That would be easier for people to understand. The honeybadger would go out in the first round, and the crocodile would be the champion. And rightly so.

But that would be a totally different competition.
