This. People don't seem to GET what makes something 'hard'. It doesn't mean 'most dangerous' or 'kills most humans'. It means can take care of itself against something bigger than it, and is possibly slightly mentally unhinged. Badger/Cassowary should (on those criteria) meet in the final. But money on the f***ing shark will win the whole thing, 'cause the Honey Badger might as well be called the Marmalade Gerbil to those who don't get what a mentalist it is. It attacks LIONS, and COBRAS, for a giggle. But oh wow, the shark ate a fish. I don't give a shit, it gets beaten up by DOLPHINS. Badger for the win!

Absolutely this. Unbelievable how many people don't seem to understand what the word HARD means.

"Great feats had been described earlier in the century of badgers killing game as large as Buffalo and Wildebeest by the process of emasculation." - This means biting off their genitals, people. Animals don't get any harder.

I see these well known NSCers have arrived to bolster the Honey Poodle vote (postcount in brackets):

green (0), Oli (19), richoseagull (59), thekinglives (3)

As well as these people we rarely never hear from: Fergus96 (239), Joshyboy Bennett (186), nevergoagain (443), Skills (339), Smithy24 (239), The Brighton Bear (321)

So you're proposing some kind of system where the more posts you have the more worthwhile your opinion is? :nono:

I've seen posts by most of the second ones anyway.

AND someone could make the same argument about some of the buffalo voters if they wanted to sink to such a level. :nono:

Simster...I want to get to the nub of this;

What do you understand as the definition of the word "hard"? Simple as that.

Spot on. But then, in the very next post:

How many times does it have to be explained that IT ISN'T A QUESTION OF WHO WOULD WIN IN A FIGHT BETWEEN THE TWO ANIMALS!!?? It is about which is the harder animal, POUND FOR POUND!!

What is so difficult to understand about that?

"The Buffalo could just tread on the badger". Yes it could, although it probably wouldn't as Honey Badgers have been proven to attack Buffalo. But that isn't the point, that isn't what the contest is aboutt. Why cant people see that? What's wrong with you all? Retards.

No I am not in a good mood this morning.

Alright then you big hairy fucknugget of a retard which would you shit your pants if one was coming at you? Little badger or big fuckoff buffalo?

f***ing idiot

See, you are exactly the kind of retard I was talking about. You still don't get it. What would you be more scared of if it came running at you and attacking you, a tiger or a rabbit? A tiger, yes? However if the rabbit was happy to take on a human, which is many times it's size, surely that would make the rabbit pretty f***ing hard, right? Harder than a tiger, which is bigger than a human and could beat it easily.

HARD isn't being able to beat something up that is smaller and weaker than you. Is it? Why cant you understand this? What is so difficult to grasp?

And by the way, I'm not suggesting for one minute that a rabbit is harder than a tiger.

Quite. Which is harder, a midget trying to fight off THREE GROWN MEN, or THREE GROWN MEN beating up a midget. Use your noggins.

Errrrr but the three grown men would win though?? They could easily beat up a midget? I think I'd vote for them.

RETARDS

Much better example than a tiger and a rabbit, by the way.

Let's see how many more THICKETS we can get misunderstanding what the word "hardest" means before the end of the day.

I reckon 4.

One is known as "Black Death" in Africa. One is called "Honey Badger".

As the bloke with the heavy case said, I rest my case

Noone is suggesting that a honey badger is as dangerous to humans as a buffalo. Lets make that perfectly clear. Is that PERFECTLY clear now?

Maybe we should just do a 'Which animal would win in a fight' competition. That would be easier for people to understand. The honeybadger would go out in the first round, and the crocodile would be the champion. And rightly so.

But that would be a totally different competition.
