See, you are exactly the kind of retard I was talking about. You still don't get it. What would you be more scared of if it came running at you and attacking you, a tiger or a rabbit? A tiger, yes? However if the rabbit was happy to take on a human, which is many times it's size, surely that would make the rabbit pretty f***ing hard, right? Harder than a tiger, which is bigger than a human and could beat it easily.

HARD isn't being able to beat something up that is smaller and weaker than you. Is it? Why cant you understand this? What is so difficult to grasp?

And by the way, I'm not suggesting for one minute that a rabbit is harder than a tiger.
For me it's not JUST about the pound for pound hardness, if it was every year it would be won by an ant that can lift a twig a hundred times it's own weight or something. The honey badger is pound for pound hard and LIVES it every day, going toe to toe with lions and hyenas and holding it's own.

With a bit of casual bee attacking and snake murdering on the side. Just for the LULZ.

the honey badger is almost single handedly SAVING this competition

The Honey Badger is what this competition is all about, everyone knows that. Without it it wouldn't be the same.

It's about time someone stepped in and offered some facts about the much undervalued Cape Buffalo. The 'Black Death' is a highly dangerous, unpredictable and (when it wants to be) vicious animal. When wounded it will circle around and start to stalk the hunter, waiting for the chance to charge, gore, maim and kill its enemy. A coward it is not. It is most definitely up for the fight. They also bear grudges fanatically. They have been known to ambush and attack hunters that have harmed them even years after the event. They also hunt down and kill lion cubs in acts of ruthless preemptive strikes. In terms of strength they are able to overturn cars without too much trouble. They can fight off large predators such as Lions.

All of this and they're actually herbivores. That's right, they eat grass. And yet they are hard as nails, give as good as they get in a fight, are intelligent and ruthless, are incredibly strong, are volatile, unpredictable and aggressive and harbour grudges for years. They hard. Harder even than the feisty little honey badger.

Thank you. Some facts and some information, instead of "But the Buffalo is bigger etc". It sounds a worthy contender then, although it looks like it's too late for it. The fact remains though, if there were a Cape Buffalo-sized Honey Badger, that would be far more dangerous.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the simplistic bigger is better argument. There's more than size involved with being hard. Unfortunately I left it far too late to enter the fray. There's always next year though!
