gary glitter will be performing at the half time show

Who won Animal Bowl I? The Polar Bear won II, correct?

polar bear won both ANIMAL BOWL I and ANIMAL BOWL II (although it wasn't called that then) before retiring citing personal reasons and emotional fatigue

I think the polar bear has proved his point, and does not need to compete anymore. Typically COOL decision from the great man.

Would love The People's Champion to go all the way this year.

With your big list, you are proving my point! The croc has EVERYTHING at it's disposal, thus it's all EASY for him. If it's EASY for him, how is it "hard"?

If we were talking about who was literally the best equipped, the Human would win this contest by a absolute country mile, so it's pointless listing everything the croc has.

The croc doesn't take on elephants and win. That's the equivalent of what the Honey Badger does. He is just HARDER.

I think that maybe your definition of hard is closer to brave than to hard?

If I stepped into a boxing ring with Floyd Mayweather, who is harder? I would say that quite obviously it would be Mayweather. He is better in all areas: strength, speed, determination, ability to take a punch, tactics. Certainly, I'd be the braver of the two as it'd be me risking hospitalisation(at best...) but I could never argue that I was harder. As I understand your honeybadger argument, you'd argue the reverse, that I was harder because all the skills of boxing come easy to Mayweather. Or have I misunderstood?

I have total respect for the honeybadger's hardness(I voted for him in the quaters) but I just don't see what he heas that would take the croc(even if they were evenly sized and on neutral terrain).

The animal bowl? you just keep taking this tournament to new heights.

Surely, these guys would be more suited to the halftime entertainment:

Would you call the school bully hard? He beats up all the kids smaller than him? That's not hard. If you have ALL the tools at your disposal (like the croc) there is nothing "hard" about doing what's expected of you, is there?

Would you call a little bloke who walks into a pub, starts on a bigger guy and wins against all the odds hard? Of course you would. That for me is the definition of hardness. Taking on things that are tougher and "better" than you AND triumphing.

Honey Badgers have BEATEN lions. The equivalent for the croc would be if he took on an elephant AND won. The croc would never take on an elephant, he's not hard enough. And he wouldn't win.

This is not a fight between the croc and the badger, it's who is hardest in their own sphere. (IMO)

Otherwise if it was purely who is the strongest/best the human would win all of this easily, wouldn't they?

Ah, that's where our differences lie, I think. For me, the one on one's(but not necessarily the group stages) are a kind of face off. Obviously things need to be neutralised like size, but I always imagine these contests as fights. And, in that scenario, all things taken into consideration the croc wins this particular contest, IMHO. But, there's no 100% set definition of hard for these contests so as long as a voter can justify their position then all's good and fair.

Perhaps. So I assume you always voted for the human, as they can just shoot any animal immediately?

No, weapons are banned(apart from sticks/stones etc that might be lying around the battleground...). It should be a straight fight between animals in their natural state which puts the humans in trouble against a lot of opponents.

the honey badger has had to face a constant gauntlet to get this far, and it's amazing that it continues to stride through, seemingly unaffected
