I think another thing which made yesterday quality was the facilities on the concourse. Like, when Sussex's first game finished, I had no intentions of watching the Somerset v Kent game..didn't really know how to burn 3 hours, so we went behind the RES Wyatt stand sat in a deckchair, ice cold beer, with the game on a big screen - so I could keep an eye on the score. Was quality, no one there whatsoever. Had the bar to ourselves , really.

Yep - that's where we watched it. Had the Carlsberg (shit lager) bar right next to us, big screen right infront of us, it couldn't have been better,.

I still say the 90 minute break between the semi-finals and the final was one of the highlights of the day. Wish I would have video'd it . ROBERT KEY, HE LIKES HIS PIES.

i should have done the same went back in to watch the kent game .....was falling a sleep by time somerset were at bat!after a late fri night on broad st !

Don't think we hit that bar but was in lots of the many bars on broad st ! easy to chat to the girls there,seemed too me many more girls to guys out on fri night.
my first time in Birmingham had a good weekend !
