This club and its fans are obsessed with big name players who frankly have had their day,we are in the shit we are skint we have a changing room for the players that could be jacked up and towed away with them still in it ffs. We have scouts i take it? wtf they been doing for 5 months then? waiting for the fooking cowboys to show up? :D

I know that there is movement on the recruiting front and players are on trial but what happened to this 'stack of cash for transfers during the window' We havent exactly seen any indication that we are going to BUY a player.

The 150k bid for McNulty showed that there is at least some money available, maybe the reason we haven't spent it yet is because we've not found anyone suitable and available on whom to spend it.

Just because we have money, it doesn't mean we should throw it at the first player to vaguely take our fancy.

Jarrett and Carole. That's two in my book.

I agree that they could be positive signings but my point is that we have not splashed the cash on them which was suggested we were gpoing to do during this transfer window. Could the rumours about the Blooms and Lloyd have scuppered the cash supply for this window.

We don't know how much we paid to get Jarrett relesed from his Preston contract as it stated DK did a deal with their Chairman. Also it would have cost money to persuade him/agent to join BHA as opposed to other interested clubs. Just because there is no 'visible' fee is not to say we got him on a freebie.

This could have eaten a fair wedge of the £150k.
