We only desperately need 2 so hopefully we will progress. We can do without a left back as Virgo and Whing are coping as the full backs. What we need is a CM and a back up striker.

apart from a goal scoring midfielder and left back we also need another goal scoring striker as a back up to Muzza and Fozzy.

i said constantly we needed a back up striker who would score 8-15 goals a season before it started and instead we bought bloody defenders.

A guy who could score 8-15 goals a season for us would certainly not be a "backup" striker for us. He'd be first bloody choice.

the only way we will get 2 in by tuesday is if we sign a couple of nobodys! No one wants to come and play for a team in a relegation battle and a manager that the majority of fans wont out!

I think we need to be realistic as to the level of player that we could tempt to come and fight with us in a relegation scrap.

We are looking at reserve Championship players who have virtually no other League One club chasing them, and they will turn up "short of match fitness", or a young player who is "one for the future". There will be no repeat of a Glenn Murray-type, because why step out of League 2 for a club who may be going straight back down again?

Bollocks. As long as we pay their wages and give them first team football there's a lot of players that will come here, or are you suggesting that no one ever plays for teams at the lower end of divisions?

Encouraging to see that we will finally be getting in the players we need. Let's hope this actually happens.

How long is Murray out for? Is Fleetwood going back soon? I'm just curious as I can't believe we'd have four first team quality strikers.

No, but it's fair to assume that you would lose out to teams higher in your division, so you are left with the dregs, the players no-one else in your division wants. Teams at the bottom need to take a chance on players with question marks over them that has put others off, whether it's inexperience, age or injuries.

I think that's just logical isn't it?

What I heard Adams say was that he wants 2 payers in before tuesdy, but realistically it could be too early but we should hopefully have them in before Saturday

Please, please, no more central midfielders who are then forced to play on the wings. Absolutely no fu*kin chance of this happening, but my shopping list would be;

1 x holding central midfielder
1 x attacking central midfielder
1 x left winger
1 x right winger
1 x striker

That, ladies and gents, is how many players we are short of even achieving middle of the table.
