Leyton Orient away, guess it would have been about 1994, something like that. It pissed it down, we had the old terrace behind the goal at Brisbane Road, and we won 3-0 :clap2:

Barnsley in the late 80's. Keith Dublin was sent off for nothing! worst decision i've ever seen in my life! Lost 1-0, scrappy goal on a cold yorkshire day! Good market up there though.

away day treats

Too old to remember 1st away day but one highlight comes to mind at the
Old Den . we were in the main stand about 3 rows back and Milwall's best educated were f and b ing down on the terrace below. A middle aged lady in front of us who was with her young son stood up and belted one of them over the head with her handbag. The unfortunate lad was so surprised he did not know what to do so he moved away. we won 1.0 but i was glad to get away on the train that day.

My memory is shocking so I can't remember. I guess it was a London club during the last year or two of the Goldstone. Don't remember my first home game either

Bristol Rovers away in about 1994, midweeek feburary half term I think. I was 9 and my dad took me. It was when they played at the old Twerton Park ground (Bath Football Club). We lost 1-0. Stayed with relatives in Dorset, En route.

Charlton on New Year's Day 1985...despite it only being just up the road there can't have been more than a couple of hundred of us there, we scored after about a minute and hung on for a 1-0 victory...at least my away-days started on a high!

I remember that game! Think it was a morning kick off, was freezing cold, and I was hungover.

I think my first away game was Palace in 76/77 season.

Wow what a good thread for once!

I had to look through all the old fixtures for mine, and work out my 1st ever home game first which was the 4th November 2003 vs Boston Utd in the LDV Vans trophy.

Then my 1st away game wasn't until the Play Off Final in Cardiff - how could I forget that lol!

Not a bad 1st away day actually come to think of it! :D

Ipswich. 1980? 1-1. 17 year old Gary Stevens scored a last minute equaliser. About 500 Brighton fans.

My first ever Albion away game was the Play-Off Final in 1991. Not bad for a first experience.

1-1 draw at Aldershot (in 1975 I think). We took 8,000 in a gate of 11,000. Narrowly missed out on promotion a few weeks later.

Some of our "fans" broke the goal posts after the game.
