1971 was the year I left Brighton & England after finally falling in love with one of the many Scandinavian girls that came over to learn english, so in Novemeber I packed my rucksack and took the train & ferry to Copenhagen - after a summer working on the Dodgems & Ghost Train on the Palace Pier. I remember buying Carole Kings Tapestry album and my boss on the Dodgem's demanding to play it all the time on the terrible LP player we had - still have the LP what with its scratches & oil marks....
