Silly old bat
Its a slippery slope and people paying are assisting in creating the dangerous precedent, especially when many people already pay for Sky sports.

So if we are never allowed back into football stadium are people saying they will not do PPV and then give up 'watching' Brighton except for the odd game that might hit mainstream Sky or BTsport at best 12 games a season?

Sky are showing a repeat of our game on Monday night at 23.00 on Ch402, if you want to do a Likely Lad type scenario and avoid the result.

Not quite sure what it has got to do with already paying for sky or BT as this game wouldn't have been on anyway. Appreciate there is a fear about PPV but a lot of complaints about this have been about the price and not the principle. Will be interesting to see what the viewing figures will have been for the first few games, particularly Villa v Leeds!

You may not be aware, in other countries a single equivalent subscription would get you access to every PL game live. Price and principle, it's a step too far.

Definitely donating my 14.95 to a food bank. I just think it sends an important message that (a) fans can't be exploited indefinitely and (b) real people know what is important.

It's quite depressing seeing people say they will pay for it. It'll just encourage the broadcasters to keep whacking up the price (and show games at a ridiculous kick off time).

Even Barber has said the price is silly.

Don't do it

How many people visiting food banks have the latest iphone, a massive TV on their living room wall, and the very latest trainers? Just asking.

If anyone wants to support foodbanks AND get something in return then why not consider The Price of Football book, written by a DULLARD.

100% of the royalties from book sales are being given to The Trussell Trust, one of the UK's leading food bank charities.

The book is only £9.99 at Amazon, Waterstones etc and is the perfect Christmas gift for someone who you feel obliged to buy a present for but is a bit of a dweeb.

don't know- that's not a referral criteria funnily enough

both of the products that you mention can last a long time. You could buy something expensive while you have a job and then lose that job- you still have the item but don't have any money for food which is a daily need. The two aren't related- no one is buying a tv every day and they don't have much of a resale value

This is a poor post. Suggest supporting a cancer charity or another good cause if you're that cynical then!

That is someone who was banned for posting EDL lies - I wouldn't waste your time.
