So disappointing how low the ticket sales are. I wonder if the club are thinking they should have opened a stand at a time. Wouldn't look as bad on TV if we'd just put the lower tiers on sale. Maybe they should have gone for 15 loyalty points as an extra incentive.

There is still time for them to do this. My feeling is the club actually want to keep suppirters away from this one.
All of the above I guess, plus a withering of the importance of the FA Cup vs the PL, plus I suppose a potential repeat of the Goon Show from last time.
Oh, and not enough Loyalty Points for the harvesters.
Same! It would not have mattered who we had drawn, if the game was on a Saturday or Sunday I would have been there. I went to the MK Dons game last season, so it is not about a glamourus oposistion for me. It's that fact that it is on a Monday night, which means at least I would have to take the afternoon off from work, only just returned from a long Chrismas break and up to my kneck. It will be an added pain in the bum because Palace fans can not be trusted to behave themselves, and I would probably not get back until 1am ish. On top of that there the cost of the ticket, petrol and parking probably probably £100 I can not afford. So for this one i am going to give it a miss. The reason the cost would be OK if it was a weekend game I could have coupled it with staying over the weekeend and doing the normal chores that help my elderly Mum, so better value.
If I lived locally I would also be at the game.
Add potential transport chaos with Southern railway to the list.

Personally, I think that the low ticket sales reflects the esteem in which we hold the visitors.

Exactly this .........plus saving £50 on 2 tickets £30 on petrol plus food and drink, leaving home at 1430 and getting home at normally 1am, midweek league games are bad enough...without doing all that to watch 2 reserve teams just because its Palace.....
CAn settle on my couch and watch on TV glass of wine in hand....
PLUS as a ST holder I'm sure my cup final ticket is quite safe.

Whilst I am going myself, perfectly understandable given all/some of the aforementioned factors why the ticket sales are somewhat slow.
Given all of the hype, previous problem, TV cameras, VAR and police under the spotlight, I reckon it's all going to be a bit of a damp squib (no apologies for the firework pun).
