We got bored and started talking about how Liverpool is actually quite a nice place to live. So, back on topic, £111m?
Is it happening or not?
Up to Chelsea.
Pay the price ( £111 million + sell-on ), get the player.
According to the Mirror Liverpool are currently waiting to see the outcome of a PL and FIFA check on whether Chelsea spending £110 m complied with FFP….
Liverpool refuse to give up on Caicedo after behind-the-scenes moves stun Klopp
The Mirror understands that Liverpool’s bid for the Ecuador international only came after they received encouragement from the player’s camp, with the suggestion Caicedo would happily join the club if the offer was acceptedwww.mirror.co.uk
How about a straight £115m?
The cards are firmly in the hands of one man. Oh it's so much fun these days being a Brighton fan.Depends if Bloom sticks to his midnight deadline for offers. If he does, then Bloom will call Caicedo’s bluff and say go to Liverpool or stay at Brighton, and I think he’ll go. Alternatively Liverpool officially retract their offer and then Bloom allows Chelsea a best and final offer, which may then be accepted or rejected, depending on the amount. It’s a three horse race and could well be a three way photo finish.
Hurry up 3pm tomorrow please for the love of godWe got bored and started talking about how Liverpool is actually quite a nice place to live.
Losing to Luton isn't exactly the tonic we need.Hurry up 3pm tomorrow please for the love of god
Can’t think of a better time to start BOOING his replacement Dahoud though!Losing to Luton isn't exactly the tonic we need.
At half time I’ll struggle to get a pint let alone a tonic of losing to Luton.Losing to Luton isn't exactly the tonic we need.
Feel different this morning. I’d have been fine had he left for Liverpool. The feeling I have this morning is a bit strange. I imagine it’s similar to how it feels when parents see their kids go off to university or leave home for a job… and mix of sadness and pride and excitement for their future.
I know he was a bit of a wally last January but once the winter window closed he was professional and got down to business. I wish him well and hope he achieves everything I feel he’s capable of.
This doesn’t make any sense though. If the Caicedo deal doesn’t currently comply they can sell players to the value of the non-compliance at some point in the FFP financial year. The non-compliance isn’t now, it’s overall and at the end of the year.According to the Mirror Liverpool are currently waiting to see the outcome of a PL and FIFA check on whether Chelsea spending £110 m complied with FFP….

Source was spot on! What a deal for the club - for a player who played 53 times for us. I call that £25,854 for every minute he played for us.Chelsea aren't out of this... Heard of £115m bid being tabled... We'll have to wait and see!
